Copying music to CD

  • I am a tracker ie. I use programs like fast tracker (music) and I need to be able to put my songs onto CD. I have an internal Kodak burner and I have my songs in either .wav or .mod format. I was wondering how do I actually copy the .wav and/or .mod songs onto CD.

It is possible to copy .wav sound files onto CD as CD tracks and to be able to play them on regular CD players. Since you have not included the name of the software you are using I can’t give specific instructions but I will give a general overview of the process involved. You really only need to follow what you would normally do to copy files from your hard drive onto a CD. Create a new audio CD session/layout and then just select the .wav files that you want to put onto the CD from the ‘add tracks’ (or similar function in your CD Burners software), then click the ‘Create CD’ (or similar) button to start the CD Creation procedure.

Hi there. If this is the first time you are posting a comment it will not appear immediately, but needs to be approved. This is necessary in order to combat comment spam. However, once you have submitted a comment (which is subsequently approved) you do not need to go through this process again - the site remembers who you are and auto-approves your comments. Nifty eh? Anyway, sorry about the inconvenience that this may cause for your first comment post.
