Save Java images
-
Is there a way of saving images that float or pop-up on Java? Right click on mouse doesn’t work with Java. Thanks.
Sorry to say but there is no way to save individual images that pop-up or float on Java. You can, however, save the Java applet, run it locally on your computer, and use a screen capture program to capture certain images that are displayed on the applet. To do this, go to the page on the internet which contains the Java applet with the images you want to save. To find the location of the Java applet, view the internet pages source code found in the ‘View’ menu of your browser. Once you have found the location of the applet, copy this into your web browser and go to the location. You should find the applet loads and starts doing whatever it does. When the applet has fully loaded, go to the ‘File’ menu in your browser and use the ‘Save As’¦’ function to save the applet locally. When saved, you can go offline (if you like) and load the applet locally off your hard disk into your browser. Finally, use a screen capture utility (eg. HyperSnap-DX Pro - www.hyperionics.com) and capture the images of the Java applet that you want. HyperSnap is a very good screen capture utility which captures things such as DirectX which conventional ones can’t do (or if they do it wouldn’t turn out very good quality).
