My problem concerns my Voodoo 2 3D card. When I play a game requiring the card the game freezes and I have to restart the PC. Any help would be appreciated. I run Windows 98.

I had a look around the internet to see if anyone else is experiencing the problem you describe with games freezing under a Voodoo 2 3D card. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find any similar problems. The first thing to try, is to go to the video cards manufacturer’s website and have a look in their support section to see if it is a recognised problem with the video card which you have. Another possibility could be that the problem is related to the Voodoo 2 drivers. You could see if there are any updated drivers on the manufacturer’s website. However, be warned that sometimes upgrading the drivers can do more harm than good (eg. after upgrading, Windows may hang on boot). Make sure that you have your old drivers on hand in case you need to reinstall them due to a problem with the newer drivers. All else failing, try contacting the manufacturer of your Voodoo card as they would be more familiar with the hardware.
