Goodbye AOL

  • I am running Windows Me and a SM56 Speakerphone Motorola Modem with AOL 7 as my ISP. At least once during each internet session a ‘Goodbye’ message appears and I must reconnect to the internet. AOL 7 tells me that my modem is causing the problem. How do I correct this problem?

This is a very tricky problem for me to solve as I have never used AOL and I am unfamiliar with their configuration. I recommend that you contact AOL technical support about this problem. The website at www.aol.com.au mentions they offer free 24/7 technical help. Please let me know how you are able to fix the problem.

Hi there. If this is the first time you are posting a comment it will not appear immediately, but needs to be approved. This is necessary in order to combat comment spam. However, once you have submitted a comment (which is subsequently approved) you do not need to go through this process again - the site remembers who you are and auto-approves your comments. Nifty eh? Anyway, sorry about the inconvenience that this may cause for your first comment post.
