My Canon Scanner came with Adobe Photoshop 5.0 (limited edition) but no manual or interactive tutorials. The various books in the shops now deal with 6.0 or later and they are very expensive. Are there any decent interactive tutorials available on CD-ROM at a reasonable price?

Personally, I wouldn’t try looking for tutorials on CD-ROM for Photoshop 5.0 (LE or full version) as you can find good tutorials for using the software online. For example, have a look at graphicssoft.about.com/library/course/bllps5out.htm. This is a tutorial on the basics of Photoshop and is relevant to Photoshop 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, and 7.0. If you look at the bottom of the page you will see a note to the effect that parts of the tutorial are not applicable to Photoshop Limited Edition. However, you should find some useful tips in the tutorial. There are many tutorials available on the internet and I suggest that you go searching for some which would suit your needs. I suggest that you search using Google.com for ‘Photoshop 5.0 LE tutorial’ or alike.
