Although this was mentioned as part of an answer to a question in this column a few weeks ago, I believe this tip deserves to be highlighted. Many users are not aware of the Windows PowerToys which Microsoft releases. These are a collection of really useful tools which perform handy functions and access some otherwise hidden features in Windows. Probably the most useful is TweakUI. To download the PowerToys have a look at www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/home/downloads/powertoys.asp (for Windows XP Home Edition) and www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp (for Windows XP Professional). Be aware, these are not part of Windows and therefore are not supported by Microsoft.

The story thus far...This website is provided as a free resource to the community. However, when you consider the hosting fees together with other costs (including time) it ends up costing several hundred dollars to operate this site.
