Windows Vista Snipping Tool

  • Windows Vista includes a neat utility called the Snipping Tool. This utility can take screen shots of different portions of the screen and allows the user to select the screen area to capture. This is a major improvement over the traditional PrtScn and ALT-PrtScn methods of taking screen shots in Windows XP. Windows Vista users can find this utility in the ‘Accessories’ program menu in the Start menu, or alternatively by using the search feature to search for ‘Snipping Tool’ (without the quotes).

Hi there. If this is the first time you are posting a comment it will not appear immediately, but needs to be approved. This is necessary in order to combat comment spam. However, once you have submitted a comment (which is subsequently approved) you do not need to go through this process again - the site remembers who you are and auto-approves your comments. Nifty eh? Anyway, sorry about the inconvenience that this may cause for your first comment post.
