    Tip of the Week

A common requirement in Microsoft Excel is to repeat a header row at the top of each printed spreadsheet page, or repeat a column on the left of every printed page. To do this, open the Page Setup for your Excel spreadsheet. For Excel 2000/2002/2003, the Page Setup can be accessed from the “File” menu > “Page Setup”. For Excel 2007, click the “Page Layout” tab and click the expand icon in the bottom-right of the “Page Setup” area. In the window that appears, click the “Sheet” tab. Under the “Print titles” heading, click the selection button next to the rows or columns selection box (depending on whether you wish to repeat rows or columns). Now, select the row(s) or column(s) in the worksheet you would like to repeat. Once you have finished, close the selection window and the selected rows will be defined in the Page Setup window. Click OK to save and close. You can now use the print preview function to see how the spreadsheet will look when printed. (more…)
