One of your recent tips suggested how to sort the Internet Explorer favourites by name by right-clicking on the favourites menu and selecting “Sort by name”. However, this option is not available on the menu. Can you help? The computer is running Windows XP with Internet Explorer 6.

This is quite strange, as the option to Sort by Name should definitely be in the favourites menu. To confirm that the option is definitely not in the menu, open Internet Explorer and go to the “Favorites” menu. Right-click on one of your favourites, and check whether there is the Sort by Name option. This should be the second from the bottom in the menu, directly above the Properties option.
