Make sure the file exists or delete the reference to it in the registry

Every time I start the computer a series of four messages appear saying things similar to “Windows cannot find the file C:OPTIONSCABStiryakcsrss.exe. Make sure the file exists or delete the reference to it in the registry”. Clicking OK to close each message allows the computer to continue operation. However, how can I get rid of these messages?
These messages are appearing because the computer is referencing these processes (e.g. csrss.exe) to load on startup but cannot find the files. Fortunately, we can easily disable these processes from loading on startup. Write down the name of the process which appears in each error message and then go to the “Start” menu > “Run” and type “msconfig” (without the quotes) and click OK. The System Configuration Utility window will now appear. Click the “Startup” tab. This lists all the processes which load on Windows startup. Find the entry for each of the processes which are causing the errors on startup and untick their entries. This will disable those processes from loading on startup. Click OK and then restart the computer. The messages should no longer appear on startup. Be aware, when you restart the compute a message may appear saying that you are running Windows in Selective Startup mode. This is nothing to worry about – this simply informs you that you have disabled some processes from loading on startup (and are starting Windows “selectively”). You can safely tick the box not to display that message again and close the message.
