First update in a while! Preparing my talk for the CIT DevelopingUs’09 seminar which I am presenting tomorrow on innovation.

If you are running multiple monitors in Windows XP or Windows Vista you may like to have different wallpaper in each monitor and also be able to easily move windows between monitors. Unfortunately Windows only has limited in-built support for these features. However, there is an excellent free utility called DisplayFusion (www.binaryfortress.com/displayfusion) which provides these features. There is also Pro version of the software available which adds even more features.

Frequently I find that some emails stay at the top of my Inbox in Yahoo mail while more recent emails slot in below. Does this indicate a simple benign mistake in the “clock” of the sender or is there something more sinister about this situation (such as viruses or spyware)? (more…)

Whenever I try to use Windows System Restore it does not respond even after trying various different restore points. An unrelated problem is that the Print Screen facility within Windows does not work. Can you assist with these two problems? The computer is running Windows XP. (more…)
