  • Internet Explorer 8 was recently released and includes many new features including a new privacy mode, better performance and better rendering of web pages according to HTML standards. Internet Explorer 8 will be included in Windows 7 (the next version of Windows) and Windows Server 2008 R2. However, it is also available via download for Windows XP SP2/SP3, Windows Server 2003 SP2, and Windows Vista. You can download Internet Explorer 8 by visiting Windows Update (windowsupdate.microsoft.com).
