Windows 7 Split Screen

  • If you have a large monitor then it can be useful to have two applications side-by-side, particularly if you are comparing or writing about something (such as a Word document and an Internet Explorer web page). Windows 7 makes this process very easy. In the application, which you want to appear on one half of the screen, press the Windows Key + Left Arrow or Windows Key + Right Arrow, depending on whether you want the window on the left or right hand side of the screen. Repeat the same procedure for the other application, obviously picking the opposite direction. Now you can easily have two Windows side-by-side on the computer.

Hi there. If this is the first time you are posting a comment it will not appear immediately, but needs to be approved. This is necessary in order to combat comment spam. However, once you have submitted a comment (which is subsequently approved) you do not need to go through this process again - the site remembers who you are and auto-approves your comments. Nifty eh? Anyway, sorry about the inconvenience that this may cause for your first comment post.
