Firefox Tips

  • The popular Firefox web browser (www.mozilla.com/firefox) has quite a few handy tricks. Two of the most useful tips are cycling between Firefox tabs and duplicating tabs. To cycle between Firefox tabs, simply use the CTRL-Tab key combination and you will be able to cycle through the various tabs, just like using ALT-Tab to cycle through programs in Windows. If you want to duplicate a tab (i.e. open another copy of a website on an existing tab) simply view the tab you wish to duplicate, select the address bar and press ALT-ENTER and the page will be duplicated in a new tab.

Hi there. If this is the first time you are posting a comment it will not appear immediately, but needs to be approved. This is necessary in order to combat comment spam. However, once you have submitted a comment (which is subsequently approved) you do not need to go through this process again - the site remembers who you are and auto-approves your comments. Nifty eh? Anyway, sorry about the inconvenience that this may cause for your first comment post.
