Mac OS X Show Path Bar

  • When people move between a Windows and Mac computer confusion often arises when browsing folders in the Finder, as the path to the folder being viewed is not displayed by default. However, you can manually enable the path bar showing the location of the folder currently being viewed. Open a window in the Finder displaying a folder and then go to the “View” menu > “Show Path Bar”. You will notice that a new bar appears at the bottom of the window showing the path to the current folder.

Hi there. If this is the first time you are posting a comment it will not appear immediately, but needs to be approved. This is necessary in order to combat comment spam. However, once you have submitted a comment (which is subsequently approved) you do not need to go through this process again - the site remembers who you are and auto-approves your comments. Nifty eh? Anyway, sorry about the inconvenience that this may cause for your first comment post.
