Move Table Rows in Microsoft Word
-
When working with tables in Microsoft Word a common, yet difficult to achieve task is moving around rows. Many users resort to cutting and pasting rows, which can be quite a cumbersome and long-winded process. Fortunately there is a much easier way to move rows. Click within the row that you wish to move and then hold down the SHIFT-ALT keys and use the up and down arrows to move the row up or down in the table. Selecting multiple rows and following the same procedure will also allow you to move several rows at a time.
