Windows 7 Split Screen
By skid on January 4, 2010 in Tip of the Week | No Comments
If you have a large monitor then it can be useful to have two applications side-by-side, particularly if you are comparing or writing about something (such as a Word document and an Internet Explorer web page). Windows 7 makes this process very easy. In the application, which you want to appear on one half of the screen, press the Windows Key + Left Arrow or Windows Key + Right Arrow, depending on whether you want the window on the left or right hand side of the screen. Repeat the same procedure for the other application, obviously picking the opposite direction. Now you can easily have two Windows side-by-side on the computer.
