My Vista computer crashed and will only start in Safe Mode from the recovery CD. Any ideas?

Unfortunately without additional information I am not able to provide particularly comprehensive advice on this problem. However, from your description it seems that your operating system has been corrupted since the computer will only boot from the system recovery CD. If you have a current backup of your data then the easiest resolution would be to reinstall Windows. However, if you don’t have a backup then it is possible that all your data is still on the hard drive, but has now just become practically inaccessible since you cannot boot the computer. In this situation you may wish to take the computer to a technician to see whether they can connect the drive to a different computer and recover your data. However, don’t hold your breath, as depending on the extent of the corruption, your data may have been lost.
