Using Windows XP with Outlook Express I have not been able to access emails sent from any commercial enterprises such as Qantas, PC Authority, NRMA, and Princes Cruises to name a few. All that I see is the normal email header – From, Date, To, Subject and then there is nothing in the body of the message. Is this problem at my end or their end? When I click the button a Windows Network Diagnostics window appears with the message “Windows did not find any problems with this computer’s network connection”. At the moment every time I need to open a PDF file I need to right-click on the file and select “Save Target As…” then save the file to my computer and open the file locally. The computer is running Windows Vista Home Premium and Internet Explorer 8. (more…)

Web pages on the computer do not render correctly – instead of displaying the page in the correct colours it only has black and white graphics together with the headings in black outline. This also results in some of the text on the page overlapping making it very difficult to read. How can I fix this problem? (more…)
