Spontaneously, F, P, and Z characters appear in the middle of typing. For example: FPFFFFFFFPZFFFFFFFFFPZ. The letters may appear in upper or lowercase, and spontaneously. When moving the mouse cursor across the screen it is very difficult to move and click on icons. It almost feels like some kind of magnetic field is trying to prevent my cursor from moving! Frequently an error message appears advising that “KBD.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close”. I can close the error message and the computer appears to continue working correctly, but the message is quite irritating. How can I stop this error message from appearing?
