Spontaneous Keys

Spontaneously, F, P, and Z characters appear in the middle of typing. For example: FPFFFFFFFPZFFFFFFFFFPZ. The letters may appear in upper or lowercase, and spontaneously. They appear to be related to the location of the cursor, and sometimes appear during a pause in typing but not always. The computer is running Windows Vista Ultimate. (more…)

Keyboard Letters

My keyboard no longer types the letters shown on the keyboard and other letters appear in response to keystrokes. This suddenly happened when typing an email so I am unsure how this was caused. The computer is running Windows XP. (more…)

Mouse Not Tracking

When moving the mouse cursor across the screen it is very difficult to move and click on icons. It almost feels like some kind of magnetic field is trying to prevent my cursor from moving! At first I thought this may have been a virus on the computer, but extensive scanning has given the computer the all clear. How can I fix this problem? The computer is running Windows XP. (more…)

KBD.EXE Error

Frequently an error message appears advising that “KBD.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close”. I can close the error message and the computer appears to continue working correctly, but the message is quite irritating. How can I stop this error message from appearing? Random Cursor Movement

The cursor on my new laptop computer has a habit of jumping around at random, with no rhyme or reason. This happens all the time when I am typing in Outlook or Word. Can I stop this from happening? The computer is running Windows XP. (more…)
