  • Loosing sound

    I have a Pentium 100, 48 MB RAM setup. On the odd occasion I use my machine to play games, everything works fine for the first few minutes, then I lose sound. When this happens, I have to reboot my machine to get the sound functioning again. Is there an inexpensive solution to my problem? (more…)

  • Recording a CD

    I would like to put a 4min audio CD onto my hard drive but the only recording device I know of is Windows Sound Recorder which has a maximum recording limit of only 60sec. I also have a relatively big hard drive to store the music on. Is it possible to increase sound recorders 60sec capacity? Or is there any other application which would allow me to record the whole song from CD? (more…)

  • Winamp skipping

    I use WinAmp to play mp3 files but whenever I try to play a file the audio is skipping tracks and not understandable. I am running a 486/100Mhz computer with 16mb of RAM. Is my computer too slow so I can’t play mp3 files? (more…)
